LEMONS OF LOVE CANCER CARE ORGANIZATION 🍋💛

Charlene King is on the board of directors at Lemons of Love, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit cancer care organization. She believes strongly that integrating business and philanthropy is a must in today's marketplace. Consumers are looking to invest their income in a brand or company that is socially responsible. For her, it's important to contribute and give back in some way to help build a supportive and thriving community. It has also been proven that helping others makes you happier, too. Who doesn't want that?

LEMONS OF LOVE

Lemons of Love was established in 2014 by cancer survivor, Jill Peltier, the owner of F.A.S.T. Cooling, in Mount Prospect, IL. The charity creates, fills and delivers chemo care packages to cancer patients - adults, children, veterans - going through chemotherapy. They are filled with carefully-selected products to help ease the short-term side effects of treatment and are, also, designed to brighten a cancer patient’s day. So far, over 15K packages have been shared worldwide.

In 2018, the Lemons of Love Cancer Center was built offering additional support and community to cancer patients, family and friends. Along with medical treatment, it’s a place where those touched by cancer can learn, grow and be empowered by programs taught by experts – at no cost.
